While the dates may vary from year to year, this page is a guide to the major events happening in Philadelphia’s Orthodox community. Outreach Opportunities
- The King’s Jubilee is an Orthodox-affiliated organization that helps homeless people. They feed homeless and hungry people in Center City regularly, and have many other ongoing ministries throughout the year. http://www.shoutforjoy.net/

There is a mid-May Greek Festival at St. Demetrios Greek Church at 229 Powell Lane in Upper Darby

A Grecian Festival is held in early June by St. Sophia Parish of Valley Forge, located at 900 S. Trooper Road, Jeffersonville
St. George Orthodox Cathedral holds their Greek Festival at 256 S. 8th Street in May or June
Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church holds a full 5 day Greek Festival in Wilmington, DE

The yearly St. Anna’s Festival & Procession is celebrated on the Sunday nearest August 7 at Our Lady, the Joy of All Who Sorrow at the corner of 20th & Brandywine

Russian Mosaica Festival is held each year at Penn’s Landing (cultural festival, not specifically Orthodox)
October
St. Michael the Archangel’s annual Russian Festival is hosted at 4th & Fairmount
St. George Greek Orthodox Church holds a festival called A Taste of Greece in Media, PA

St. Nicholas Orthodox Church holds their annual Ethnic Festival (Russian emphasis) at 7th & Brown St.
